Saekano: Fan Service of Love and Youth

This special episode of Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend is a fanservice-filled bonus story featuring the members of Blessing Software, the doujin game circle founded by otaku high school student Tomoya Aki.

The circle's latest game needs one final push to make it over the finish line, so the team ventures out to the Japanese countryside for some location scouting. Illustrator Eriri Spencer Sawamura and Megumi Kato, the unassuming girl who serves as the model for the game's main heroine, busy themselves with work. However, scriptwriter Utaha Kasumigaoka and music producer Michiru Hyoudou have other plans for their teammate Tomoya.

With the four girls all fighting for his attention, Tomoya finds himself in increasingly risque situations, and the work trip turns into a comedic battle for his affections. The episode leans fully into the series' self-aware humor about otaku culture and the romantic comedy tropes it loves to poke fun at.
