Blue Exorcist: Runaway Kuro

Blue Exorcist: Runaway Kuro is a short special set in the world of Blue Exorcist. Kuro is a cat sidhe – a cat demon with two tails – who once served as the familiar of Shiro Fujimoto, the exorcist who raised the twin brothers Rin and Yukio Okumura. After Fujimoto's death, Kuro became Rin's companion, and since Rin can understand demons, the two share a close bond.

In this episode, however, Kuro feels slighted by Rin and decides he has had enough. In a huff, the little demon sets out on a hunt for a new master, wandering around in search of someone who will treat him the way he believes he deserves. But can he really find anyone who can take Rin's place?

A lighthearted side story away from the battles against the demons of Gehenna, Runaway Kuro focuses on one of the series' most beloved supporting characters and on the friendship between a boy who is the son of Satan and the loyal cat who would much rather be by his side.
