Blue Exorcist: Ura Eku

Blue Exorcist: Ura Eku is a collection of extra short episodes included with the Blu-ray and DVD releases of Blue Exorcist, the action fantasy based on Kazue Kato's manga. The main series follows Rin Okumura, a hot-headed teenager who discovers that he is the son of Satan and resolves to become an exorcist to fight his father's demons. Alongside his twin brother Yukio, a prodigy who already teaches at the exorcist cram school of True Cross Academy, Rin trains with a colorful group of classmates, including the shy Shiemi Moriyama and the earnest Ryuji Suguro.

Ura Eku sets aside the dark battles and dramatic revelations of the main story in favor of lighthearted comedy. Presented as bite-sized bonus segments, these shorts show the cast in a more relaxed, playful light, poking fun at their personalities and everyday life at the academy, and give fans a few extra minutes with the characters between the episodes of the series.
