Hyouka

Hotaro Oreki wants a quiet school life and follows a simple rule: do nothing unless he must. That plan breaks when he is pushed into joining the Classic Literature Club to keep it from being shut down. Inside, he meets Eru Chitanda, whose curiosity is impossible to ignore, plus Satoshi Fukube and Mayaka Ibara, who quickly turn the clubroom into a place where small questions never stay small. What starts as odd school puzzles grows into a more personal mystery when Chitanda brings up her uncle, a former member connected to the club’s past. Oreki keeps saying he hates effort, but he keeps solving what Chitanda cannot let go, and each answer pulls the group deeper into the club’s hidden history.
