One Piece: Defeat the Pirate Ganzack!

While Luffy and his companions are sailing on their small boat, it is suddenly struck by an unknown projectile that plunges from the sky, and the vessel is smashed to pieces. Before the crew can recover from the shock, a new threat appears: a giant plesiosaur surfaces from the depths and, before anyone can react, seizes Nami and vanishes beneath the waves. Exhausted, Zoro and Luffy drift on the wreckage until they are washed ashore on an unfamiliar island.

There they meet a young girl named Medaka and learn the island's sad history. The evil pirate Ganzack has taken away all the men of the village, including Medaka's father, and enslaved them. Now Luffy, Zoro and Medaka must infiltrate Ganzack's base to rescue the villagers and Nami.

Produced by Production I.G for the 1998 Jump Super Anime Tour, this short adventure was the first animated outing for the Straw Hat crew, made before the television series began.
