One Piece: Adventure in the Ocean's Navel

This time the Straw Hat Pirates find themselves at the Ocean's Navel, a mysterious city that has suffered attacks from monsters for many years. These giant creatures seem to be guarding a mysterious treasure capable of granting any wish. The city lies in the middle of a whirlpool, and its very existence hangs by a thread. Although Luffy and his crew decide to help the local people, they have no idea that defeating the monsters could make the problem even worse. The battles against the creatures prove long and grueling, and every time it seems the situation is nearing a resolution, a new and even more dangerous threat appears.

After one brutal fight, when it seems the city has finally found hope, the pirates discover that the threat they eliminated has left behind something far more sinister: in defeating the guardians, they have unleashed another evil. Now they must decide whether to keep fighting, risking their own lives and the fate of those around them. This TV special originally aired after episode 53 of the One Piece anime.
